1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Vet GPT AI mobile application (the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

The App is operated by Emrah Korkmaz (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and us regarding your use of the App.

2. Eligibility

The App is intended for use by licensed veterinary professionals, veterinary technicians, veterinary nurses, veterinary students, and other qualified veterinary staff. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

You are at least 16 years of age
You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
You understand that the App provides educational reference tools and AI-powered assistants that are not a substitute for professional veterinary training, clinical judgment, or established medical protocols

3. Medical Disclaimer

THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT SECTION OF THESE TERMS. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY.

3.1 Not a Medical Device

The App is an educational and informational reference tool. It is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or clinical decision support system. The App has not been evaluated, cleared, or approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the European Medicines Agency (EMA), or any other regulatory authority.

3.2 No Medical Advice

Nothing in the App — including AI-generated imaging observations, lab interpretations, drug interaction analyses, specialist consultation responses, or any other output — constitutes veterinary medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. All information is provided for educational and reference purposes only.

3.3 Professional Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

All AI-generated observations, interpretations, and recommendations must be independently verified with authoritative sources (peer-reviewed references, clinical guidelines, specialist opinions) before any clinical use
You are solely responsible for all clinical decisions made in the care of any animal patient
The App does not replace your professional veterinary judgment, training, or clinical expertise
AI-generated imaging observations are not official radiological readings and should not be used as definitive diagnostic interpretations
Drug interaction results may not cover all possible interactions and should be cross-referenced with authoritative pharmacological resources
You must verify drug availability, formulations, and regulatory status in your jurisdiction, as these may differ from information presented in the App

3.4 AI Assistant Limitations

The AI Assistants are powered by Google Gemini AI and are subject to the following limitations:

AI-generated responses may contain errors, inaccuracies, or outdated information
The AI does not have access to your patient's complete medical records, history, or current clinical status
Image analysis quality depends on image quality, positioning, and technical factors — the AI may miss findings or generate false positives
AI responses should never be the sole basis for clinical decisions
The AI may not reflect the most current drug approvals, label changes, or safety alerts
You must not rely on AI output without independent clinical verification

3.5 Assumption of Risk

By using the App, you expressly acknowledge and assume all risks associated with the use of AI-powered veterinary assistants, imaging analysis tools, lab interpretation features, and clinical reference tools. You agree that we shall not be liable for any adverse outcomes, injury, or death to any animal patient resulting from the use of or reliance on information provided by the App.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Subscription Plans

The App offers auto-renewable subscription plans (“VetGPT Pro”) that provide access to premium features including unlimited AI assistant usage, all specialist consultants, and advanced imaging analysis. Subscription options and pricing are displayed within the App and may vary by region.

4.2 Free Trial

Some subscription plans may include a free trial period. The duration of the free trial is specified at the time of subscription. If you do not cancel before the free trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription, and your Apple ID account will be charged.

4.3 Billing

All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the then-current subscription rate
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription

4.4 Managing Subscriptions

You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings:

Open the Settings app on your device
Tap your name at the top
Tap Subscriptions
Select Vet GPT AI and manage or cancel your subscription

4.5 Refunds

All purchases are subject to Apple's refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.

4.6 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Price changes will take effect at the start of the next subscription period following the date of the price change. Your continued use of the App after a price change constitutes your acceptance of the new price.

5. Permitted Use

You may use the App solely for lawful purposes related to veterinary medicine, education, and clinical reference. You agree not to:

Use the App as the sole basis for clinical decision-making without independent verification
Share, redistribute, or resell access to the App or its content
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
Use the App to develop a competing product or service
Transmit any malicious code, viruses, or harmful components through the App
Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent any security features, subscription restrictions, or access controls
Use the AI Assistants to generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
Input personally identifiable information of patients, clients, or any individuals into the AI Assistants
Upload images containing personally identifiable information about animal owners or other individuals
Use automated means (bots, scrapers, or similar tools) to access the App or its content
Misrepresent the App's output as official medical guidance or regulatory-approved information

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Ownership

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, algorithms, AI assistant configurations, and the overall design — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, professional, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to:

Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
Use the App's content for commercial redistribution
Remove any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from the App

7. User-Generated Content

7.1 AI Conversations

Your AI chat conversations are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for the content of your queries and uploaded files. We do not claim ownership of your conversation content.

7.2 Uploaded Images and Documents

Images and documents you upload for AI analysis are processed in real-time by Google Gemini AI and are not permanently stored on our servers. You retain ownership of any content you upload. You are responsible for ensuring that uploaded content does not contain personally identifiable information of animal owners or other individuals.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including Google Firebase, Google Gemini AI, RevenueCat, and Apple services. Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of any third-party service providers.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT
WARRANTIES THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS
WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, RELIABILITY, OR TIMELINESS OF ANY AI-GENERATED OBSERVATION, IMAGING ANALYSIS, LAB INTERPRETATION, DRUG INTERACTION RESULT, OR OTHER CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE APP
WARRANTIES THAT THE APP WILL MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS OR EXPECTATIONS

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT AI TECHNOLOGY, DRUG INFORMATION, AND CLINICAL PROTOCOLS MAY CHANGE OVER TIME AND THAT THE APP MAY NOT REFLECT THE MOST CURRENT INFORMATION AT ALL TIMES.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE, OUR AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR:

ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES
ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES
ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP
ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR DATA
ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY RELATED TO THE APP
ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT, IMAGING ANALYSIS, LAB INTERPRETATION, DRUG INTERACTION RESULT, OR OTHER INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE APP
ANY INJURY OR DEATH TO ANY ANIMAL PATIENT ARISING FROM THE USE OF THE APP

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY, OR FIFTY US DOLLARS ($50.00), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN DAMAGES. IF THESE LAWS APPLY TO YOU, SOME OR ALL OF THE ABOVE EXCLUSIONS OR LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY, AND YOU MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless us, our affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

Your use of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
Any clinical decisions you make based on information obtained from the App
Any claim by a third party related to your use of the App

13. Account Deletion

You may delete your anonymous account and all associated local data at any time through the App's Profile tab by selecting “Delete Account & Data.” Upon deletion:

Your anonymous Firebase account will be permanently deleted
All locally stored data (chat history, preferences) will be permanently erased
Your subscription will not be automatically canceled — you must separately cancel any active subscription through your Apple ID Account Settings
This action is irreversible

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination:

Your license to use the App will immediately cease
You must stop all use of the App
Sections 3 (Medical Disclaimer), 10 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 11 (Limitation of Liability), 12 (Indemnification), and 16 (Governing Law) shall survive termination

15. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the modified Terms, you must stop using the App.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law.

Nothing in these Terms shall limit your rights under mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction.

17. Apple App Store Terms

These Terms are between you and us, not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”). However, you acknowledge that:

Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App
Apple is not responsible for any product warranties, whether expressed or implied
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims related to the App, including product liability claims, legal compliance claims, or intellectual property infringement claims
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary

Your use of the App must also comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, proposals, and representations, whether written or oral.
